After market research, we focused on the creation of inspiration boards with the intention of providing visual representation of each student’s interpretation and understand of the project.
Each student received a packet of all the research they had gathered and was asked to note what they felt was most important. This information was then used as a starting point for the creation of their board.
The team members first created thumbnail sketches of their ideas for the boards, and were then provided with presentation boards, colored papers, fabric pieces, paint swatches, paint, and printed pictures for supplies. Students were encouraged to use these resources to visually communicate what they had noted from the resource packet. They then presented their inspiration boards before the team.
