Cambridge Science Festival

On the Saturday before April break, our team was given the opportunity to represent the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam program at the Cambridge Science Festival! It was an amazing experience, and a great opportunity to talk to the community about both our past work on the invention and our goals for the future with Citizen Schools.

We spent the Friday before the event packing up our materials. Our main display was a miniature street model we had created, complete with the 3D printed structure made for us by NVBots. The whole model was fully functional and a great way of showcasing how our actual invention would be implemented. It looked amazing and really made our booth stand out!

The Science Festival was also a great chance for some of the new team members to practice talking about our project in a concise and clear way. Although they were a little nervous at first, they were pros at presenting by the end of the day!

We were very grateful to be given the chance to present at this event by Lemelson-MIT. It was definitely a lot of fun!
