The tree is right behind the tigers, and it branches out upwards to represent growth and the values that we uphold as a community.
Hanging off the tree are a few leaves and photos to represent the students at Newton North High School, and each photo tells a story through little snippets about the students through AR (augmented reality).
The Major 1s have been taking photography lessons so that they can capture more photos to use as the leaves.
They are learning about different types of photography, what the different camera settings are/do, and what makes a photo so interesting/appealing to us.
They are taking inspiration from Humans of New York and are trying to capture photos that tell that a story.
