NVBots Presentation

On September 25th, NVBots, a 3D printing group focused on adapting technology for classroom settings, invited some of our NNHS Inventeam to the celebration of their new space in Boston’s Innovation District. It was a wonderful experience— both fun, and fascinating.

Our connection to NVBots comes in the form of the lovely miniature model of the Pedestrian Alert System they printed for us to take to the White House. We brought it to the event, and the lights really made it stand out! The fully functioning model inspired a lot of curiosity among the attendees of the event, mostly scientists and entrepreneurs. Team members had a hard time grabbing a bite to eat with all of the engrossing conversations they found themselves participating in.

Personally, the aspect I remember best about the night was the opportunity to discuss something I am passionate about with people who are equally interested. Max, one of our team members, especially enjoyed seeing all of the amazing products in the room.

The value of the experience lay in the way that it allowed team members to broaden their horizons and taught them to be comfortable talking freely and coherently about their work. We are so grateful for the chance to attend this wonderful event!
