Color corrected sign 2

New Sign, New Year

It’s a new school year, and the design majors are getting back at it again! With a long year ahead of us, we’re excited for the new projects this year. We’re settling down from our summer vacation jitters and getting back to work!

We made a (quite literal) grand entrance to the school year by putting up a new sign for the Design classroom. In order to create this new sign, students used 27 canvas boards. These boards were organized and intricately designed with a perfect composition of colors, textures, and patterns. Recycled soda cans were cut and placed on each individual canvas board to add flavor and flow for the whole sign. This sign was specially designed to coordinate with the mural on the other side of the hallway, so students are visually inspired when leaving the classroom just as much as they are entering it. Please be sure to check it out!
