3D Printer

We have recently gotten a 3D printer from NVBots, a startup company from MIT. This printer is capable of making objects that can reach up to 8x8x8 inches in size!

We use the software 123D to work on projects that are to be printed. Currently, we have our exploratory classes experimenting with the printer. So far, their products have been amazing!

Major 1 has recently concluded typography and has just finalized their final projects that incorporated everything they had learned throughout the unit. We are excited to announce that they are starting to get involved with the printer as well. They are in the process of learning the basics of the 123D software and they will soon be using it to produce the entire alphabet.
