Since our initial contact, we have been continuing to communicate with our sister school St. Joseph School. They have assembled a team of students to aid us in the research for our project.
We were able to purchase a camcorder and tripod in order for them to assist us with the research for our invention. Though we sent the camcorder, we are having the tripod directly delivered to the school by one of our Ethiopian mentors, as the shipping of it would cost approximately $200 more.
We also compiled and sent the St. Joseph team additional research questions about possible materials, road conditions, and the predicted local response to specific elements of our design. We hope the camcorder will help with this process.
They recently sent us a photo of the team they assembled for our project. We really appreciate all they are doing for us and look forward to future communication!
