On December 19, we held an engineering meeting with two of our mentors, Kyle Henry and Antonio Rufo. Kyle is an engineer for General Electrics (GE) and a Lemelson-MIT alumni and Antonio is an Electrical Engineer major at Northeastern University.
With the assistance of our mentors we finalized the entire material list for Phase One of our prototype. We placed orders for Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega, Breadboards, Ultrasonic Range Finder, Wire Antenna, and LED boards.
In addition, we walked through the schematics of our invention to see any potential technical problems. We refined our schematic for the main pedestrian alert system and the sensor module of our invention.
